More than a module.

More than a poster.

More than box ticking.

Elephant Ed’s workshops are high-impact, interactive and engaging. We share practical and evidence-based strategies to prevent harmful behaviour, crafting an environment where your employees feel safe, empowered and supported.

Businesses play a crucial role in building a more inclusive society and stamping out harassment, intolerance and discrimination. At Elephant Ed, we believe all employees should feel safe and valued for who they are. This isn’t just a moral responsibility - it’s a source of competitive advantage.

By having a diverse workforce that represents our society and fosters an inclusive and safe culture, you’re building a place where people can thrive.

Positive duties under work health and safety laws require employers to do all they reasonably can to prevent sexual harassment.

Elephant Ed’s Sexual Harassment Workshops support employees to gain a deeper understanding of sexual harassment in the workplace, including its origins, why it happens and how it plays out in different contexts. The workshops promote safer and more positive workplace cultures that prevent and stand up to sexual harassment, as well as empowering participants with avenues to seek help if needed.

FAQ’s

  • Elephant Ed workshops are designed to run for 90-120 minutes, but can be altered where needed. For more information, feel free to get in touch.

  • Our workshops are designed for group sizes of up to 35 participants. While we are flexible, our feedback and experience suggests smaller group sizes promote greater conversation and allow for a more comfortable environment. We have a team of facilitators who are able to deliver workshops to multiple groups at the same time if needed.

  • Our team is based in Melbourne, but we also frequently travel interstate to run workshops.

  • Our facilitators are highly trained in both our workshop content and facilitation, having delivered workshops to thousands of people. They are charismatic, relatable and sensitive, allowing them to build a strong rapport and connection with our participants in a short period of time.

Our facilitators undergo rigorous and ongoing professional development and training.

  • An ideal format for the workshop is an informal space that promotes discussion. We recommend moving tables to the side. This might be an event space, a boardroom or other open area. External spaces can be hired if needed. We do require a whiteboard and a screen to show media.

  • Our curriculum and workshops have been created in consultation with experts in workplace relations, sexual health, mental health and education, including La Trobe University. We regularly consult this group to ensure our programs meet the highest standards and are respectful of a wide range of sensitivities.

  • We work with many denominational organisations. Our workshops are flexible and can be tailored to suit individual needs - we work closely with you to ensure our workshops are well-aligned to your company's beliefs and values.
